The Association offers a range of events for members and residents of the Heidelberg West Business Park throughout the year. Unfortunately events have been on hold during 2020 due to restrictions, but we are looking forward to coming back together in 2021 and celebrating big!
Association events aim to foster new connections between businesses, equip managers and owners with information and resources, and offer valuable services and opportunities to those working in the Business Park. Association events include networking nights, seminars, and initiatives such as our Flu Vaccination Drive.
We love to support and source from within the HWBP for our events. So, if you have an idea for an event, if you have a great space and you’d like to host an event, if you produce food or beverages and want to be involved in catering, or you’d like to sponsor one of our events, we’d love to chat! The weather held out for our inaugural HWBP Beautification Day, with attendees including committee members, Council staff, Cr. Craig Langdon (a strong supporter of the Association and its functions), and local business owners. We cleaned up, trimmed and sprayed weeds along footpaths and the front of businesses along Waterdale, Crissane, Dougharty and Northern Roads, and were able to remove hard rubbish that has been accumulating around the Business Park. Our endeavour was to stimulate a sense of pride in our Business Park and to encourage business and property owners within the Business Park to continue this mindset, and to work together to ensure that our Business Park is presented to the best of its potential. Flu Vaccination Drive – June 2020 The HWBPA was thrilled to host a free flu vaccination program for all workers within the Heidelberg West Business Park. A qualified nurse from MediMobile came to us, vaccination took only a couple of minutes, and we are now safer and healthier for it.
